About our Team
Y2A was established by Darryl, a current undergraduate student at Birmingham City University, who is fueled by a deep passion for Youth Empowerment. He holds positions as a Young Ambassador for Action for Children, a Youth Advisor for Mission 44, and an #iwill Ambassador. These roles vividly showcase his unwavering commitment to empowering young people from all walks of life.

Our Work & Achievements
At Y2A, we are dedicated to continually crafting the support and guidance that young people both seek and deserve. Our past endeavors have included an engaging Social Media Campaign hosted on Instagram. Through daily stories, we championed empowerment and well-being, igniting each day with messages of positivity and practical advice. This sparked vibrant conversations across various topics, fostering a dynamic online community. Complementing this, Y2A consistently hosts focus groups and information sessions. These forums provide valuable insights into the desires and requirements of young individuals, ensuring that our content remains pertinent and impactful.
Our most recent accomplishment is the triumph of our soft launch event, “Y2A Connect: Empowering Young Minds,” which took place on August 29, 2023. This event was meticulously crafted to empower young people, connecting them with inspiring young leaders to help them flourish personally. Featuring a range of impactful speakers who highlighted the significance of embracing change and redefining perceived limitations, as well as engaging facilitators who illuminated the strength of a positive mindset and a healthy self-relationship. Furthermore, a panel of young changemakers and leaders led discussions on navigating the complexities of adulthood. The event has left lasting impressions, sparking thoughtful contemplations as we journey forward in life.

Our objective is to educate, empower, and support young people in their journey from youthhood to adulthood. We strive to provide comprehensive resources, foster personal growth, and address key areas such as personal responsibility, financial literacy, employability, health and well-being, and STEM subjects. Through our initiatives, we aim to equip young individuals with the tools and knowledge for a successful future.
